At BL Insurance, we are dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of those in our community. Unfortunately, Florida has the third-highest national rate of homelessness, with 27,487 people not having a warm and safe place to sleep.

This population is often left with incredibly hard choices and suffers inhumane conditions. That’s why we are committed to supporting the noble work of Second Heart Homes, a nonprofit organization that provides long-term accommodation to those with mental illness who have been homeless or are in danger of becoming so.

Their goal is to offer affordable and supportive housing, together with complete care plans that take into account each person’s unique requirements. Additionally, they search for long-term solutions and provide skill-building to assist individuals in becoming self-sufficient. We believe these programs will have a substantial positive impact on our community, and we want to support them.
